ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. Inspected the land application site. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate. It appears that
approved setbacks are being met but were not measured at this time. The field markers appear adequate. No
sign of land application outside the permitted boundaries. No sign of recent or heavy application. No odors
noted. The crop stand appears adequate at this time. Maintain cropstand and control weeds as needed. Discussed
that in the future soil sampling will be handled by the permit holder, not the Solid Waste Section.
2. Discussed the permit modification submittal. Discussed the SLAS application and minor changes that were
needed. Submit a corrected SLAS application with current signatures. Discussed what fit the definition of
industrial/commercial septage and that this type of waste cannot be land applied without prior approval.
Discussed that the property is currently owned by A Great Company LLC and that a new landowner
authorization form is needed. A nutrient management plan with current signatures is also needed. Logs
were submitted for review. The test for the land residuals class (in regards to the higher application rate at this
site) will be in June.
3. Mail all hard copies of above requested items.
