On May 24, 2017, Duke Energy Carolinas, Dan River Steam Station, received approval from NCDEQ Division of 
Waste Management (DWM) of the Dan River Landfill (Permit No. INDUS‐7906) Cell 1 CQA report.  To meet the 
one of the conditions before approval to commence operation, Duke Energy is providing the attached 
certifications of all the North Carolina Certified Landfill Operators for the Facility.
