Dear Gentlemen;
On February 3, 2017, the Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section (Section) sent
you a request entitled;
Permit to Operate, Status Update Required, Permit No. 6026-TRANSFER-2008, Russo Dumpster
Service, Mecklenburg County, DIN 27333. Prepared by the Section. February 2017. DIN 27333.
The referenced request was in response to a report from Mecklenburg County Solid Waste
Management that all activities associated with Russo Dumpster Service, Inc. (Company) on the
site had ceased, a copy of both the request and report are attached. The Section has not received
a response to the request (DIN 27815).
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that Permit No. 6026-TRANSFER-2008, Russo
Dumpster Service has been placed in an inactive/closed status. Therefore, should this site require
a solid waste permit in the future, a new permit application, associated permitting fee and permit
issued by the Section will be required prior to commencement of operations. Furthermore, the
Company no longer has an active solid waste permit, should the Company require a solid waste
permit in the future, a new permit application, associated permitting fee and permit issued by the
Section will be required prior to commencement of operations.
