FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS: 1) "No Trespassing" sign present as you get to the land application site. 2) Four metal tanks inspected. Tanks accessible for inspection. Be sure to keep the vegetation, especially the vines, down from around the tanks so that the walls of the tanks can be inspected for leaks. 3) A hole, about ¼ inch in diameter, noticed at the bottom of the first tank from the left. See picture below. It appears that an attempt had been made to patch the hole in the past. The hole will need to be patched if you plan to continue to use this tank. Epoxy alone may not be enough to completely seal this hole. It appears that no septage has leaked from this hole. No issues noticed with the other tanks. 4) Septage transfers to and from the tanks appear to be handled in a safe and sanitary manner. No septage spills noticed. 5) No objectionable odor or vector issues noticed today. 6) No change noticed that would affect setback distances. 7) With the exception of the first tank, the other tanks appear to be used on a regular basis. Four tanks inspected. Hole observed at the bottom of the first tank from the left.
