ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. This facility consists of one 4,825 gallon, steel lined in ground pit for the storage and solidification of domestic
septage, grease trap pumpings and commercial/industrial septage. The pit was not being used at the time of
inspection.

2. The waste handling and solidification operations at the Shamrock Environmental facility located on Corporation
Park Drive include only a small amount of septage waste and grease trap waste. Most operations at the site
involve other non-hazardous waste materials.

3. The facility has current disposal agreements for solidified waste at First Piedmont MSW Landfill and Uwharrie
Environmental MSW Landfill.

4. Approved setbacks appear to have been met.

5. Appropriate signs are present.

such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
