DATE AND TIME OF FIRE: 02/07/2017 @ 1:07 am
HOW WAS THE FIRE REPORTED AND BY WHOM:
Fred Knobloch was picking up a load of mulch and noticed smoke and then names and culled 9-1-1. I lolmes Electric calkd Donald Tew who then notified staff.
LIST ACTIONS TAKEN:
Personnel were notified. Water \\1lS sprayed on area. tire break was dug out to contain the fire in one area. Debris was rcmowd from area of tire to keep burning area to a minimum. Turned debris and continued spraying water throughout the day. Personnel will bent the focility 24/7 until fire is completely out During thm time water will continue to be sprayed on debris pile. The site was closed and will rcmam closed until Timrsday at 12:00 noon for residents and on Friday at 8:00 am the facility will reopen for alt customers.

There arc stumps and tree debris in the pile nnd the fire has been contained to an are:1 of about 50' x 50'
WHAT COULD HA VE BEEN DONE TO PREVENT THIS FIRE:
We are investigating the root cause of the fire to detcm1ine what we can do in the future to prevent this situation.
DESCRI.BE PLAN OF ACTIONS TO PREVENT FUTURE INCIDENTS:
All piles shall be turned daily to prevent combustion and piles shall be split in to separate wind rows to contain any potential fires.
