Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The area around the dumpster that receives screening debris was relatively clean of septage spills & debris. Continue efforts to prevent any debris or liquid from spilling on the ground or collecting on the sides of the dumpster. 2. No leaks or spills noted around the facility. It appears that septage is being transferred to/from the facility in a safe and sanitary manner. No significant odors or vectors noted. 3. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate. 4. The approved setbacks are being met. No apparent physical change in facility. 5. The approved ground tanks appear structurally sound. 6. Maintain the required 5’ cleared radius (free of excess vegetation) around the facility in the coming warm months.
