Thank you for your initial interest in the North Carolina Brownfields Program for the
reference brownfields property. As a follow-up on an email from your consultant Mr. Kirk
Pollard of Mineral Springs that you currently have chosen not to continue forward under the
Brownfields Program, the North Carolina Depaitment of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has
changed the status of the referenced brownfields property from active eligible to "No Further
Interest" (NFI). If you feel this information is not complete or accurate, please contact us to
discuss further. This brown fields property remains a good candidate for the brownfields
program. If in the future, you pursue a brownfield agreement on this brovmfields property, please
submit a new Jetter of intent and signed affidavit. We appreciate your assistance in this matter.
