Pursuant to N.C.G.S. §130A-310.39, prospective developers participating in the North Carolina Brownfields Program are required to pay a fee of $8,000.00 in the course of obtaining an agreement. This includes an initial entry fee of $2,000.00, plus the final fee of $6,000.00, which is due before signing of the
brownfields agreement.
