FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 3 AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS: 1) The “No Trespassing” sign present as you turn down the access road from Lane Farm Road. The “Septage Disposal Area” sign is present along the access road before you get to Field 1. Recommend having a “No Trespassing” sign with the “Septage Disposal Area” sign. 2) Access road is well maintained. 3) All markers present and visible for both Field 1 and 2. 4) All septage discharges appear to be within the permitted boundaries of Fields 1 and 2 5) No septage application issues, spot dumps or thick applications, observed in the fields today. 6) The rye had been planted and was up in both fields. Some areas within Field 2 need to be replanted. The area around the boundaries for Field 1 had been disked. Replant about a 25 ft strip around the permitted boundary of Field 1 for the buffer. I talked to Randy about the fields. 7) No application at time of inspection. pH of septage not checked. 8) No objectionable odors noticed today. 9) No change noticed with setback distances. 10) Records not checked. 11) I collected a composite soil sample from each field. Sign present before you get to Field 1. Both field had been planted in rye. Some bare areas within Field 2 need to be replanted. Buffer areas had been disked around Field 1.
