FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS: 1) Required signage present along the main access road path from Bay Bush Road to Fields 1 and 2. Signage also present at an access road from the north. Required signage needed at Field 3. 2) Access road is in good shape. 3) All markers were present and visible. 4) All septage discharges appear to be within the permitted boundaries of the fields. 5) No issues, spot dumps or thick applications, from previous septage applications observed in the fields. 6) Excellent stand of millet in all fields. Very few weeds. Billy said that he had applied potash to all the fields earlier this year and has completed several foliar applications of manganese. Thank you for your effort in establishing and maintaining the crop. Your efforts are evident. 7) No application at time of inspection. pH not checked. 8) No objectionable odors noticed today. 9) No issues noted with the setbacks. 10) Billy said that the previous inspector had check and said that Field 3 was ok to use. I did not find anything about Field 3 in the previous inspection. There was an access path to Field 3 today. Millet had been planted and was around 6 inches tall. Markers were up and visible. Need to get the required signage up prior to the entrance to the field. In past years, this field had not been used because it was surrounded by another field with crops growing on it and a deep canal. Once the sign is up, Field 3 can be used. Pictures of the millet growing on Field 1. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this inspection report. ____________________________ Phone: (919) 707-8283 . Chester R.
