Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS: TRUCK LICENSE PLATE # VIN # TANK CAPACITY (gal) Boat MXBZ 3491D303 90 1) I inspected one pontoon boat with a 90 gallons plastic tank. The required lettering is present on both sides of the boat. All lettering at least 3 inches in height. 2) Tank is made of plastic. The tank and pump setup is made for this purpose. Tank appears to be structurally sound. No leaks noticed. 3) Tank is strapped to metal frame. Metal frame is glued to the floor of the boat. Pump boat will be used to just service the boats docked at the marina as requested. 4) Access ports appear to be in working order. Access ports have proper fitting lids or caps. 5) Be sure to keep records of pumping jobs and disposal as talked about in the New Operators Class on July 12th. 6) Boat passes inspection. Once permit has been signed, then you can start using the boat to pump out wastewater from the boats. Boat lettered with the required information. 90 gallons plastic tank mounted to metal frame that is glued to the floor of the boat.
