The Solid Waste Section (Section) has reviewed the request to install groundwater monitoring wells in
accordance with the USEPA CCR Rule 40 CFR Part 257.91 at the Duke Energy Carolinas Dan River CCR
Landfill submitted on March 7, 2017 (DIN 27491). The Section concurs with the request to install sixteen
(16) monitoring wells. The Section requests all analytical data collected from these wells to be
submitted.
