Addendum Fee
Dear Mr. Dodson:
Pursuant to N.C.G.S. §130A-310.39, prospective developers must pay a fee equivalent
to the full cost to the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) required to affect
changes to the existing Brownfields Agreement and Notice of Brownfields Property. In order to offset recent reductions in our federal grant, we have set the cost for post-recordation addendums or modifications at $1,000.00.

For identification purposes, please include a copy of this letter with your payment and/or list
the Invoice number shown above on your check, made payable to “NCDEQ - Brownfields”, and send to:

There will be a $25.00 processing fee assessed on all returned checks. Thank you for your prompt
