These soil samples are GP-17 (4 ft), GP-18 (4 ft), and BG-2 (6-8 ft). H&H will advance three hand auger borings at the locations of previous borings GP-17, GP-18, and BG-2. At each location, a core machine will be used to core through the surface concrete at GP-17 and GP-18 and the surface asphalt pavement at BG-2. Following coring the surface material, a decontaminated hand auger will be advanced to the depth of the previous soil sample from that boring, and a sample will be collected at that depth. The soil samples will be collected for analysis of total chromium and hexavalent chromium. Trivalent chromium will be determined by subtracting the total chromium concentration from the hexavalent chromium concentration. Ms. Carolyn Minnich February 25, 2008 Page 2 S:\AAA-Master Projects\Atlantic Realty Partners - ARP\Lida Additional Site Assessment Work Plan.doc Following completion of our field activities and receipt of the analytical data, a brief letter report will be prepared which describes the methods and results of our activities. The report will include a map depicting the locations of the borings, soil boring logs, a comparison of the detected hexavalent and trivalent chromium detections to the DENR Inactive Hazardous Sites soil remediation goal, laboratory analytical data including quality assurance/quality control data, and conclusions concerning our activities. We look forward to your approval of this work plan. Please contact me if you have any questions or need additional information. Very truly yours, Hart & Hickman, PC Steven C.
