STATUS OF PERMIT: Pre-permitting PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Pre-permitting inspection of SDTF STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: N/A OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: N/A The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The Septage Detention and Treatment facility (SDTF) will consist of one above ground 20,000 gallon steel tank for a total site capacity of 20,000 gallons for the storage and treatment of grease trap pumpings. 2. All photographs were taken by Troy Harrison on February 14, 2017 3. Set-back/buffer requirements were discussed, measured and appear to have been met. 4. Appropriate signage (No Trespassing signs) will need to be posted for the site as required by 15A NCAC 13B .0841(k) which states: “Access roads or paths crossing or leading to the facility shall be posted with "NO TRESPASSING" signs.” 5. All weather roads are maintained for access to the site. 6. The tank appeared to be structurally sound and no leaks were observed. 7. The tank appears to have not previously used for septage. 8. As a reminder, the tank cannot be used until the permit is issued.
