FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. The currently permitted acreage is inactive due to timbering. No trees have been planted yet. When this area is replanted it will take approximately three years before the trees may be land applied on. 2. The required signs are posted at the front & back entrance to this site. The access road is adequate. 3. Met to inspect the back section of this site where the pine trees have been approved by the Forestry Division. Extensive work has been done to remove excessive understory growth and driving lanes have been cut in. Control understory growth in the coming months & maintain the driving lanes. 4. Discussed/measured setbacks (50’ from property line & 200’ from creek along the south side). Replace all orange flags with permanent field markers. Area was GPS’d. 5. Mr. Jones resigned the application & nutrient management plan for this permit modification. No land application may occur in this back section (which will be called field 2) until after the new permit is issued to include this additional area. Also gave Mr. Jones a 2017 class schedule.
