Please find the enclosed permit approval to operate for the Beaufort County Transfer Station, Permit No.
0703T-TRANSFER-2012, which approves the continued operation of the facility. This is a life-of-site
permit and there is no expiration date. Also enclosed is the approved application including operation
plan.

In general, the facility permit does not reiterate permit conditions which are included in the Solid Waste
Management Rules, 15A NCAC 13B, nor does it restate specific conditions which are included within the
approved plans. Please review the conditions of the permit thoroughly.

Also included is a certified original of the permit. The certified original is provided for recordation with
the Beaufort County Register of Deeds. A copy of the certified original affixed with the Registrar’s seal
and the date, book, and page numbers of the recording must be returned within 30 calendar days of issue
to the Permitting Branch Supervisor as noted at the bottom of the certification statement.
