The Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section (Section) has received your application
submittal for the vertical expansion of Landfill No. 6, Area D. The submittal included the
following documents: Stormwater Management Plan (DIN 27269), Slope Stability Evaluation
(DIN 27270), Operations & Maintenance Manual (DIN 27271). The application was submitted
on your behalf by Sevee & Maher Engineers, Inc. and was received in the Asheville Regional
Office on January 10, 2017.

The submittal has been reviewed for completeness in accordance with General Statute 130A-
295.8(e). A determination of completeness means that the application includes all required
components but does not mean the required components provide all of the information that is
required for the Section to make a decision on the application. All of the components required by
15A NCAC 13B.0504 have been submitted so the application is deemed complete.

If any additional information is needed to make a decision on the application, it will be requested
under separate cover.
