Cleveland County, DIN 27335

Dear Mr. Lockridge:
On January 31, 2017 the Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section (Section) received
a request on behalf of Cleveland County from Mr. Wayne Sullivan of Municipal Engineering
Services Company entitled;
Cleveland County Landfill Phase 3 - Revisions. Prepared for Cleveland County. Prepared by
MESCO. January 2017. DIN 27334.
The request is for Section approval of changes to the approved plans for Phase 3 landfill
construction. The proposed changes include; changes to stormwater conveyance and sub-grade
elevations. The Section has reviewed the changes and hereby approves of the proposed changes.
Cleveland County should consider the request, referenced above (DIN 27334), as an approved
document and a copy of the referenced approved document should be included in the submittal
of construction quality assurance documents and request for permit approval to operate for Phase
3 of the landfill.
