Enclosed you will find a copy of Permit No. 5503, dated January 27, 2017 (DIN 27281), for operational
approval of the Lincoln County landfill facility. The following are important items;
 Read your permit carefully, it is important that you understand your permit. If you have any questions
regarding the permit, contact me immediately.
 The approved documents related to this permit may be downloaded at
http://edocs.deq.nc.gov/WasteManagement/Search.aspx?cr=1, Laserfiche Weblink.
 Copies of this permit, the approved plans, and all records, are required to be maintained by the
permittee at the facility, and made available to the Solid Waste Section (Section) upon request during
normal business hours.
 This permit;
o Approves the continued operation of MSWLF Phases 1-3,
o Approves the commencement of operations in MSWLF Phase 4,

o Represents the issuance of the MSWLF life of site permit, and
o Represents the issuance of the CDLF life of site permit.
