The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The permitted Septage Detention and Treatment facility consist of one 10,000 gallon steel tank for the storage of domestic septage from recreational vehicles. The waste from any recreational vehicle that is being used as a
permanent residence is prohibited from being stored in this tank.
2. Appropriate signage was in place along access. Access to the tank is controlled by a cable at the entrance.
3. Vegetative growth was effectively controlled in the areas around the tank.
View from top Side view 4. No leaks or spills were observed. Facility Staff stated that the tank has not been used in two years.
5. The tank appeared to be structurally sound and no leaks were observed.
6. Vectors were not present at the time of inspection nor were objectionable odors observed.
7. Approved setbacks and buffers for the storage tanks appear to have been met.
8. The current permit has Tyana Miller listed at the contact on page one. During the inspection, it was learned that Ms. Miller is no longer affiliated with the company. A new application will need to be submitted to the Division. The current permit and a new permit application is included with this report.
