FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. Permitted acreage is inactive at this time due to timbering. No land application occurring. Trees have not been replanted on this front area yet. Please follow the advice of Forestry Services in regards to understory control & replanting. 2. Reviewed back section of this site where the pine tree stand has been approved by Forestry Services. Discussed setbacks (50’ from property line & 200’ from creek). Placed a few orange flags. GPS’d and took soil samples for this new area. Received check for soil samples. Understory control (burning) did not occur this winter due to wet conditions. Please contact Forestry Services in regards to the best method at this time. Some sections appear to have an adequate stand of trees, but other areas appear very sparse – disposal area may need to be revised & GPS’d again once understory removal provides a clear picture. Driving lanes are present. Discussed paperwork (application & nutrient management plan) for this permit modification.
