ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
-All photos were taken by Lee Hill on April 19,2016 unless otherwise noted.
-This inspection report is for multiple site visits:April 19,2016 and May 10,2016.
-The facility is secured by a gate at the entrance.
-Facility staff were in the process of ensuring that all material was removed from the 50 foot property line buffer at the April 19,2016 inspection.
-Material appears to have been removed from the buffer at the May 10,2016 inspection.
-Large logs had been placed to the north of the entrance to ensure that material is not placed within the 50 foot buffer.
-A large stockpile of un-ground land clearing material was observed on site.*Please note that a Yard Waste Notification site cannot process or store
more than 6000 cubic yards of waste and finished material per three month period.*
-A small amount of unacceptable waste (cross ties)was observed in a recently dumped load during the April 19,2016.inspection.Facility staff had
made contact with the party responsible for the material and were requiring them to remove the waste from the site.
-No unapproved material was observed during the May 10,2016 inspection.
-Screened soil is being stored in the 50 foot buffer to ensure that no waste is placed within the buffer.
