Dear Mr. Edwards,
Enclosed you will find a copy of the latest facility permit for Permit No. 3608-TRANSFER-
1993, Waste Management of Carolinas, dated May 12, 2016 (DIN 26093). The Permit to Operate
approves the continued operation of the Ranlo transfer facility. The following are important
items that remain to be accomplished;
 The Solid Waste Section (Section) has no record that the required recordation of a permit
has taken place for this facility. I have attached a certified copy of the permit for this
purpose (see Attachment 1, Condition 3. of the permit and the certified copy for
instructions).
 Read your permit carefully, it is important that you understand your permit.
 The documents related to this permit may be downloaded at
http://edocs.deq.nc.gov/WasteManagement/Search.aspx?cr=1.
 Copies of this permit, the approved plans, and all records, are required to be maintained
by the permittee at the facility, and made available to the Section upon request during
normal business hours.
