Dear Mr.Suleyman:
The Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section, received and reviewed a request
submitted on your behalf by SCS Engineers concerning the disposal of concentrate from a new
ultra-filtration/reverse osmosis (RO) process being installed at your onsite leachate treatment facility onto the New Hanover County Secure Landfill.

The RO system is being added to reduce the concentration of some constituents in the leachate in
order to comply with the NPDES permit discharge limits from your onsite treatment facility.
Additional information was supplied describing the location, equipment, and procedures that will be used to control and monitor the concentrate disposal onto the landfill.

This letter serves as an approval to your request based on the information supplied. Please place
a copy of this letter, including attachments, in your operating record and incorporate the changes
into your operation plan.
