The Solid Waste Section has reviewed the Gravity Groundwater Intercept Cell 9-Final Report (DIN 23401) at the Sampson County Disposal, LLC Landfill submitted on your behalf by Smith Gardner, Inc. on February 3, 2015. The proposed base grades comply with the four-foot vertical
separation requirement as stated in 15A NCAC 13B .1624 (b)(4). The facility may begin
construction of Cell 9.
