Robeson County MSW
Permit No. 78-03
Doc ID No. 21466
Dear Mr. Edge,
The Solid Waste Section (Section) has reviewed the “Request to Change which Wells are in Assessment
Monitoring” submitting on your behalf by Joyce Engineering on July 25, 2014 (DIN 21465). In this request,
three monitoring wells associated with Phase 1 (MW-3R, MW-10 and MW-11) were asked to be reverted to
Detection Monitoring. In addition, MW-13R, MW-14, and MW-15A will be added to the Assessment
Monitoring list. In summary, groundwater wells to be monitored under Assessment Monitoring are as
follows: MW-5, MW-6, MW-8, MW-9, and MW-9A. The remaining groundwater monitoring wells will be
monitored under Detection Monitoring. The Section approves this request.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email
elizabeth.werner@ncdenr.gov or phone (919) 707-8253.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth S. Werner
