(from the manufacturing of textile fabric) Describe the wastewater process. Aerobic wastewater treatment facility which treats waste from Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Domestic and some Storm water runoff. System consist of two aeration basins, clarification, digestion and UV disinfection. VPDES #0001554. What is in the wastewater, including any chemicals used in the wastewater process. The wastewater is typical waste of a biological system that processes nylon/spandex or polyester/spandex fabrics etc. For example since our fabrics are to be worn against the body we do not use heavy metals or salts in the manufacturing process which could be found in a fabric intended for industrial use. The biological wastewater process operates at a steady state and does not require any chemicals to be added only a small amount of polymer is used at the clarifier to aid in sludge settling.     From: Wilson, Donna [mailto:donna.wilson@ncdenr.gov]   Sent: Tuesday, November 22, 2016 3:25 PM  To: Steve Cockman <scockman@mcgillcompost.com>  Subject: RE: New Feedstock    Hello Steve,    About the Hanes brand residual, can you provide a description of the waste?  I see that it is a digester sludge cake, but  what is the wastewater process from?  What is in the wastewater, including the chemicals in the wastewater?    Thanks, Donna        Donna J.
