Revision to Facility Annual Report for the Period of July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015
Dear Ethan,
As discussed during our telephone conversation on January 27, 2016, Dewberry Engineers Inc.
(Dewberry) is providing this letter to document a revision to the Facility Annual Report for the period of
July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015 for the Brunswick County C&D Debris Landfill.
While completing the 2015 Landfill Disposal Efficiency Report a discrepancy in the remaining airspace
(airspace used) was identified. It is important to note that this discrepancy does not impact the total
permitted airspace of the landfill which was approved during the last permitting action. The discrepancy
only impacts the remaining airspace (airspace used). This discrepancy can be attributed to the following:
• Assuming too large of a volume for the final cap when performing volume calculations to
determine the remaining airspace; and
• Additional survey data obtained on July 15, 2015 that assisted in refining the volume calculations.
Attached to this letter is the revised Facility Annual Report for the Period of July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015
for the Brunswick County C&D Landfill. Only item 6 (page 1) has changed from the original submittal
provided by Brunswick County on July 31, 2015.
