On October 28, 2016 the Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section (Section)
received Waste Management of Carolinas’ request entitled;
Waste Management of Carolinas, Inc., Raleigh Transfer Station, Permit No. 9215T-TRANSFER-
1994, Request for Approval to Add Disposal Location. Prepared by Waste Management of
Carolinas. October 2016. DIN 26938.
The request concerns the addition of the Great Oak Landfill, Permit No. 7607-MSWLF-2015, as
an approved disposal site for this transfer station. The Section has reviewed Waste Management
of Carolinas’ request and approves the additional disposal site, once Great Oak Landfill has been
properly permitted to receive waste.
