Mr. Hollifield,

The Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section (Section) has received your request and
plans to manage universal wastes (DIN 26854) at the above referenced facility. The request was
received in the Asheville Regional Office on October 13, 2016.

Based on our review of these plans, the Section approves the receipt and management of universal
wastes at the Johns River Solid Waste Management Facility. The universal wastes must be
managed in accordance with the submitted plans. Any changes to the plans must be reviewed and
approved by the Section prior to implementation. Please update your operation plan to include
these universal waste management plans. The updated operation plan will be added to the List of
Documents for the Approved Plan in your Permit at the next permitting activity.
