Dear Mr. Wisecarver:
Please find enclosed the signed Permit to Construct/Permit to Operate (DIN 26800) for the
Running Deer LCID landfill in Pender County, NC. This permit issuance approves the
construction of Section E and the continued operation of the facility under the terms and
conditions of the permit. In general, the facility permit does not reiterate permit conditions
included in the Solid Waste Management Rules, 15A NCAC 13B, nor does it restate specific
conditions that are included within the approved plans, such as site specific operations. Please
review the conditions of the permit carefully. A copy of the current permit, updated Operations
Plan, and other required documentation must be kept on site at all times.
Please note the permit must be recorded with the Pender County Register of Deeds within 30 days.
In addition, prior to receiving any materials for the new Section E, you must follow the conditions
specifically spelled out in Attachment 2 of the Permit.
