FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate. 2. Field markers appear accurate based on the current site map. However, one field marker at the back left corner of field 1 (marking the 50’ from the property line on the south side) is hidden by the neighboring treeline vegetation – remove excess vegetation from around this corner marker. 3. It appears that the approved setbacks are being met but setbacks were not measured at this time. 4. It appears that land application is occurring within the permitted boundaries. 5. No odors noted. No heavy application or spot dumping noted – applications appear to be within compliance. 6. All three fields have been cut and the clippings are still on the fields. The harvest/clippings need to be removed from all three fields. Land application is not to occur until the harvest/clippings are removed from the fields – it appears that a recent application has occurred on field 1. 7. Cropstand appears adequate. Control weeds and vegetation other than Bermuda. Establish the cover crop this fall per the approved nutrient management plan so that land application may occur this winter.
