Good morning Jonathan,
Based upon the August 2015 and the March 2016 monitoring events, benzene has exceeded the 2L NC
Standard within groundwater monitoring well MW-13 (adjacent to Phase 2). As a result, the submittal of
an Assessment Monitoring Plan pursuant to 15A NCAC 13B .1634 to initiate assessment monitoring for
the Wayne County Subtitle D Lined Landfill will be required. Please contact me at your earliest
convenience so we can discuss further.
