Any waste found to have been placed within this buffer should be pulled back to within the proper disposal area. 11) Soil has been stockpiled in an area adjacent to the landfill for use in cover and maintenance operations. 12) The working face is being maintained in a compact and manageable size. *Please ensure that all waste is compacted, covered and graded monthly or when the active working area reaches one acre in size, whichever occurs first. 13) The waste type being disposed is LCID waste only; no unacceptable waste streams were observed during this Facility Compliance Inspection. 14) The area around the toe of the landfill has been cleared and mowed, providing for access around the landfill. 15) Overall, the inactive areas of the landfill have been covered with native warm season grasses and/or a natural coppice-type cover. 16) Many of the uncovered and uncompacted areas noted in the previous Facility Compliance Inspection Report (please see N1060-20160217INSP) have been covered, graded, and seeded. However, portions of the outside slopes are still in need of compacting and covering. *Please continue working to ensure that all outside slopes FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section N1060_INSP_20160728 Page 3 of 3 are covered and graded at a slope not greater than 3:1, and are seeded and mulched to establish a groundcover suitable to prevent erosion of the landfill cap system. 17) Inert debris including concrete, brick, and asphalt is being stockpiled for reuse in an area adjacent to the landfill access road. *Please note that the State rules regarding recovered materials state that for a material to qualify as a recovered material, the majority of the material (75% or more) must be sold, used, or re-used within twelve months. 18) No off-site erosion was noted during this Facility Compliance Inspection. 19) *Corrective actions are needed as a result of this Facility Compliance Inspection.
