Dear Mrs. Hardin:

The Solid Waste Section (Section) has reviewed the request to install replacement monitoring wells for
MW-5 and MW-7 at the McGuire Nuclear Station Landfill #2 due to low volume of water (DIN 26526).
The new wells MW-5A and MW-7A will be drilled to a deeper depth with a 15-foot screened interval.
The Section approves the replacement of these wells.
