No violations noted on the previous inspection conducted on 11/05/14.

OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
NONE
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and
any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS:

1) The “No Trespassing” sign was present with the signs for the septage land application site.
2) Tanks accessible for inspection.
3) Tanks appeared to be structurally sound. No leaks noticed.
4) No septage spills noticed on the ground by the tanks or on the tanks. The screening tanks need to be
pumped out.
5) No odor or vector issues noticed.
6) No change noticed that would affect setback distances.
7) Site did not appear to be in use on a regular basis. Septage still in some of the tanks.
8) Records not currently required for this septage detention facility.
9) Wooden posts had been placed around the screening tanks. Now, just some type of barrier such as a chain
needs to be run from post to post. The barrier is needed to help prevent someone from falling into the
buried screening tanks.
