STATUS OF PERMIT:
The Yard Waste Notification approval letter was issued by the Solid Waste Section on May 18, 2015. The Yard Waste
notification annual renewal is due by June 1st.

The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The Yard Waste Notification is for the collection and processing of land clearing debris as described in the Yard
Waste Notification Facility Form.
2. The facility is to remain under 2 acres in size and process and store less than 6,000 cubic yards on a quarterly basis.
3. Required buffers include: 50-foot minimum buffer between all property lines; 100-foot minimum buffer between
all wells; and 50-foot minimum buffer between perennial streams/rivers.
4. A gate was located at the entrance to facility to prevent unauthorized access.
5. The access road was of all-weather construction and well maintained.
6. According to Mr. Steele, no land clearing debris has been accepted to date.
7. The Solid Waste Section has received the annual Yard Waste Facility Notification form for 2016.
