The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

1 – Met with Mr. Christian Richardson, Grounds Supervisor on an unannounced facility inspection. He told me where
the old LCID site was located at the Golf Course Entrance. The area has all grass and a sand pit and is well maintained.
2 - The site is not in use and has been covered. Mr. Hall indicated during a telephone conversation on July 14, 2016 two
days after the inspection that the buried material consisted of bricks from the demolition of the old Grandy Post Office
that was located on this same site. He also stated that this site has been covered for 18 years.
3 – According to the initial inspection report dated March 05, 2015; The Notification is recorded on a 0.93 acre tract
recorded in Deed Book 408 Page 480 parcel ID# 0094000116P0000. The Notification was recorded in Book 502 Page
901
4 – Digital pictures were taken.
