Lettering now permanently attached to the tank on the pump truck Also on 10/30/14, a violation to Rule .0844(b) was noted for the leak at the back port. No leak noticed today at the back port. Cap also present on the back port. OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: NONE The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. LETTERING Pump truck was lettered appropriately on both side of the tank. Lettering meets the requirements within the NC Septage Management Rules. Windsor is the town name listed on the tank which is the town for the street location of the office. Application only lists the mailing address. In the future you need to list both the physical and mailing addresses on the appplication. Vehicle (s) properly lettered meeting rule requirements for information and size 2. TANK (S) Tank is made of steel. Tank appeared to be ok. The tank was structurally sound and constructed out of approved materials 3. ATTACHMENT Tank was welded onto the frame of the truck. Tank had been removed from other truck and welded onto the frame of this truck. Tank securely attached to frame of truck. 4. VALVES, PORTS and CAPS No leaks noticed were from any of the ports. Cap was present on the back port. Valves appeared to be in working order. Valves and access ports present in proper working order. Caps on ports. 5. LEAK No leaks noticed today. No evidence of any leaks from the tank, valves, and/or access ports. 6. TRUCK LOGS Truck logs not inspected today. Logs contain the required information and are up to date OTHER COMMENTS: * The violations noted on 10/30/14 have been corrected.
