FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS: 1) The required signage present with the sign for the septage land application site. 2) Tanks accessible for inspection. 3) Tanks appear to be structurally sound. No leaks noticed. 4) No septage spills noticed on the ground by the tanks. 5) No objectionable odors or vector issues noticed. 6) No change noticed that would affect setback distances. 7) Septage present in the tanks. 8) Records not required for this septage detention facility. 9) Talked to Blake some about adding a concrete tank by one of the tanks to help with mixing (lime) into the septage. The concrete tank will need to be structurally sound and placed on the ground surface (not buried). Also, the concrete tank could not be used for storage of septage. All septage would need to be pump out of the concrete tank after mixing. 10) No violations noticed today.
