Permit Condition 18. Field separations in the nutrient management plan and all pertinent setbacks shall be clearly located on the site. This site is permitted as two fields (Field 1, 3.7 acres and Field 2, 4.4 acres). The dividing line separating the two fields shall be clearly marked. It appears that a dividing marker part way into the field is hidden by a tree & vegetation. Remove the tree & vegetation so that the marker can be clearly seen. Another tree & hidden marker were noted on the site in the front section of field 1, unsure at this time of the intent of this marker as it does not appear to correspond with the site map. Both trees on the fields need to be removed to prevent land application from occurring on the trees instead of the approved crop which is Bermuda/rye. SEE BACK FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate. 2. It appears that no land application occurred outside the permitted boundaries. 3. No sign of recent application and no odors noted. No sign of heavy applications. 4. It appears that the approved setbacks are being met. 5. The cropstand is adequate at this time but weed control is needed. 6. The woodline around the perimeter of the site appears to be migrating onto the disposal fields in areas – the neighboring vegetation needs to be cut back periodically to prevent encroachment.
