Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. No physical change in facility (Mr. Wildman stated there had been no change to the process), but there will be regrading & extensive maintenance work done in the near future. 2. The required sign is posted on the gate and the access road is adequate. 3. The tanks appear structurally sound and no leaks/drips were noted. 4. The approved setbacks are being met. 5. No apparent vectors or odors noted. 6. The required 5’ cleared radius (free of excess vegetation & debris) is present around the facility. 7. It appears that septage is being transferred to and from the facility in a safe and sanitary manner. 8. The permit renewal should be received soon. Please include information in the submittal concerning the pump truck that is only used onsite to transfer liquids and also the future sump pump & lines to be installed at the back of the horizontal storage tanks.
