PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Follow up Compliance Inspection STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: None OBSERVED VIOLATIONS None FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 1 - This Follow up Inspection was to see improvements made on this site from the November 16, 2015 Inspection. 2 - The landfill is allowed to receive land clearing and inert debris for disposal. Only LCID waste noted onsite. 3 - Property lines and LCID Notified landfill waste boundaries are to be clearly identified by permanent markers. Permanent markers still need to be installed. Verification is also still needed that will indicate that the landfill is a minimum of 100 feet from the property lines. Has contacted a surveyor to complete this task. 4 - Now has adequate cover and a stockpile of cover material onsite. 5 - Site has placed required signage at entrance. 6 - Digital pictures taken and attached to this report. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
