The NC Solid Waste Section has reviewed the proposed drilling plan submitted by Joyce Engineering on behalf of Coastal 
Regional Solid Waste Management Authority.  The drilling program will collect the data necessary to characterize the 
hydrogeology and design an effective water quality monitoring network for the Phase 4 expansion at the Tuscarora Long 
Term Regional Landfill in accordance with 15A NCAC 13B .1623 and is approved for implementation.

Good Monday morning. I tried to reach you by phone, but did not leave you a message to listen, instead I’m
sending this email to you. Bobby Darden of CRSWMA asked last Friday of our schedule for the Phase 4
hydrogeo drilling.

If you would, please let us know when we might receive the DEQ approval to the proposed drilling plan.
