ND - Not Detected at or above adjusted reporting limit. TNTC - Too Numerous To Count J - Estimated concentration above the adjusted method detection limit and below the adjusted reporting limit. MDL - Adjusted Method Detection Limit. PQL - Practical Quantitation Limit. RL - Reporting Limit - The lowest concentration value that meets project requirements for quantitative data with known precision and bias for a specific analyte in a specific matrix. S - Surrogate 1,2-Diphenylhydrazine decomposes to and cannot be separated from Azobenzene using Method 8270. The result for each analyte is a combined concentration. Consistent with EPA guidelines, unrounded data are displayed and have been used to calculate % recovery and RPD values. LCS(D) - Laboratory Control Sample (Duplicate) MS(D) - Matrix Spike (Duplicate) DUP - Sample Duplicate RPD - Relative Percent Difference NC - Not Calculable. SG - Silica Gel - Clean-Up U - Indicates the compound was analyzed for, but not detected. Acid preservation may not be appropriate for 2 Chloroethylvinyl ether. A separate vial preserved to a pH of 4-5 is recommended in SW846 Chapter 4 for the analysis of Acrolein and Acrylonitrile by EPA Method 8260. N-Nitrosodiphenylamine decomposes and cannot be separated from Diphenylamine using Method 8270. The result reported for each analyte is a combined concentration. Reported results are not rounded until the final step prior to reporting. Therefore, calculated parameters that are typically reported as "Total" may vary slightly from the sum of the reported component parameters. Pace Analytical is TNI accredited. Contact your Pace PM for the current list of accredited analytes. TNI - The NELAC Institute. ANALYTE QUALIFIERS Analyte recovery in the laboratory control sample (LCS) was above QC limits. Results for this analyte in associated samples may be biased high.L1 Matrix spike recovery and/or matrix spike duplicate recovery was outside laboratory control limits.M0 Matrix spike recovery exceeded QC limits. Batch accepted based on laboratory control sample (LCS) recovery.M1 The continuing calibration verification was above the method acceptance limit. Any detection for the analyte in the associated samples may have a high bias.v1 REPORT OF LABORATORY ANALYSIS This report shall not be reproduced, except in full, without the written consent of Pace Analytical Services, LLC.Date: 07/05/2024 02:36 PM Pace Analytical Services, LLC 9800 Kincey Ave. Suite 100 Huntersville, NC 28078 (704)875-9092 Page 9 of 13 #=CR# QUALITY CONTROL DATA CROSS REFERENCE TABLE Pace Project No.: Project: 92739233 CTS of Asheville Lab ID Sample ID QC Batch Method QC Batch Analytical Method Analytical Batch 92739233001 865505TB-89 EPA 8260D 92739233002 865505MW-11B EPA 8260D REPORT OF LABORATORY ANALYSIS This report shall not be reproduced, except in full, without the written consent of Pace Analytical Services, LLC.Date: 07/05/2024 02:36 PM Pace Analytical Services, LLC 9800 Kincey Ave. Suite 100 Huntersville, NC 28078 (704)875-9092 Page 10 of 13 Page 11 of 13 Page 12 of 13 Page 13 of 13 ALS Environmental 2655 Park Center Dr., Suite A Simi Valley, CA 93065 T +1 805 526 7161 alsglobal.com LABORATORY REPORT ________________________________________________________________________________ July 29, 2024 Greg Hutchins WSP USA 1308 Patton Avenue, Suite C Asheville, NC 28806-2604 RE: CTS of Asheville / 6252.16.2004.01 Dear Greg: Enclosed are the results of the samples submitted to our laboratory on July 18, 2024. For your reference, these analyses have been assigned our service request number P2402916. All analyses were performed according to our laboratory’s NELAP and DoD-ELAP-approved quality assurance program. The test results meet requirements of the current NELAP and DoD-ELAP standards, where applicable, and except as noted in the laboratory case narrative provided. For a specific list of NELAP and DoD-ELAP-accredited analytes, refer to the certifications section at www.alsglobal.com. Please refer to the sample acceptance check form for additional information. The results reported herein are applicable only to the condition of the samples at the time of sample receipt. Volatile Organic Compound Analysis The samples were analyzed for volatile organic compounds in accordance with EPA Method TO-15 from the Compendium of Methods for the Determination of Toxic Organic Compounds in Ambient Air, Second Edition (EPA/625/R-96/010b), January, 1999. This procedure is described in laboratory SOP VOA-TO15. The analytical system was comprised of a gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GC/MS) interfaced to a whole-air preconcentrator. According to the method, the use of Tedlar bags is considered a method modification. This method is included on the laboratory’s NELAP and DoD-ELAP scope of accreditation. Any analytes flagged with an X are not included on the NELAP or DoD-ELAP accreditation. ________________________________________________________________________________ The results of analyses are given in the attached laboratory report. For your reference, these analyses have been assigned our service request number P2403718. Results are intended to be considered in their entirety and apply only to the samples analyzed and reported herein. If you have any questions, please call me at (805) 526-7161. ALS | Environmental Sarah Mock Project Manager Page 1 of 19 By Sarah Mock at 4:56 pm, Sep 16, 2024 ALS Environmental 2655 Park Center Dr., Suite A Simi Valley, CA 93065 T +1 805 526 7161 alsglobal.com Client: WSP USA Service Request No: P2403718 Project: CTS of Asheville / 6252.16.2004.01 ____________________________________________________________________________________ The samples were received intact under chain of custody on September 6, 2024 and were stored in accordance with the analytical method requirements.
