Dear Ms. Drummond,
On behalf of our client, CNA Holdings LLC, AECOM Technical Services, Inc. (AECOM) is submitting this
letter to formally request an extension for the required actions described in the Notice of Regulatory
Requirements (NORR) for Contaminant Assessment and Cleanup issued by the North Carolina Department
of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) on November 22, 2024 for the Needmore Road Landfill Site, Woodleaf,
North Carolina.
The NORR requires the following two actions:
• To ensure protection human health and the environment, conduct and submit an updated receptor
survey within 30 days.
• Within 90 days, submit a PFAS Work Plan.
We respectfully request an extension for completing these required actions. Specifically, we propose to:
• Conduct and submit the updated receptor survey no later than February 28, 2025.
• Submit the PFAS Work Plan no later than April 30, 2025.
