OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: NONE The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) The required signage is present along the access road before you get to the detention tanks. 2) Access road in good shape. 3) The Permit issued on 10/29/2021 covers the use of one 4,500 gallon and two 9,400 gallon above ground metal tanks for the storage of domestic septage. The one 9,400 gallons steel tank had been cut in half was still present. The black steel tank that had been placed on the gravel pad will need to be inspected prior to use. 4) The tanks were accessible for inspection. The area around the tanks is maintained so that the tanks can be inspected for issues. 5) No leaks noticed from the tanks in use. 6) Septage appears to be handled in at the facility in a way that prevents spills of septage on the ground. No spills noticed on the tanks or on the ground. 7) No odor or vector issues observed. 8) No change noticed that would affect setback distances. I t_ I The metal tanks.
