Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violationof the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) This facility consists of three above ground steel tanks with a total capacity of 18,000 gallons for the storage of domestic septage and grease septage. 2) "No Trespassing" sign present before you get to the permitted septage land application site, SLAS-83-03. 3) Access road to tank is ok. 4) Tank accessible for inspection. There was an area of about 5 ft around the tank to allow for inspection. 5) No holes or cracks observed which may allow the escape of septage out of the tanks. No leaks noticed. 6) Some lime noticed on the ground in different locations. Be sure to transfer septage to and from the tanks in a manner that prevents leaks or spills of septage onto the tank or ground. 7) No vector or odor issues noticed. 8) No change noticed that would affect setback distances.
